How Licensing Works
BruteFence licenses are hardware-bound: each license key is tied to the specific machine it was first activated on, identified by a hardware fingerprint. This prevents license sharing and keeps pricing fair for everyone. If you replace your server hardware or migrate to a new machine, you can reissue the license yourself through your WHMCS customer panel using the License Reissue feature — no support ticket required, available 24/7. For larger deployments, we offer volume licensing: if you need to license many servers at once, contact us at support@brutefence.com and we'll arrange a custom quote that fits your scale.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan. If BruteFence doesn't fit your environment for any reason, email support@brutefence.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — no questions, no friction. The 7-day free trial is designed so you can fully validate the product before paying, but if something only becomes clear after you commit, the 30-day window has you covered. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within a few business days.

Is there a free tier?
No, but there is a 7-day free trial with full functionality and no credit card required. After the trial, a paid license is needed for continued protection.
Can I use one license on multiple servers?
No. Each license is hardware-bound to one machine. For multiple servers, you need one license per server, or contact us about volume pricing.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit card payments via our WHMCS billing system. Bank transfer is not currently supported.
What happens when I cancel?
Your license remains valid until the end of the paid period. For example, if you cancel an annual license mid-year, it continues to work until the original renewal date.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Every purchase generates an automatic invoice, fully compliant with EU VAT rules including reverse charge for EU B2B customers with a valid VAT number.
